PDF output

Add at least two PDFs, arrange their order, then merge them into one document.

How to merge PDF files

  1. Choose at least two PDF files.
  2. Move files up or down to set their order.
  3. Select Merge PDFs and wait for local processing.
  4. Download the combined document and check its page order.

A practical merge example

Combine a two-page cover letter and a three-page portfolio. Put the cover letter first to produce a five-page PDF, with the portfolio starting on page 3.

What gets combined

The tool copies complete pages, including their visible text and images. It keeps the page order within each file and the file order you choose. It does not rewrite paragraphs or compress scanned images.

Supported files and processing limits

Source files can total up to 50 MB per operation. Merge and image conversion accept up to 25 files; PDF operations support at most 500 combined input pages. Images are limited to 16 million pixels each, with an 80 MB prepared-input limit. Output is limited to 100 MB and processing stops after 30 seconds. Smaller inputs are more suitable for phones and devices with limited memory.

Troubleshooting and document features

Use valid, unencrypted PDFs. If an input cannot be read or is too large, choose fewer files or a smaller copy. Editing can affect document-level features and invalidate digital signatures. Merge and extraction copy pages into a new document, so bookmarks, attachments, and interactive forms are not guaranteed to carry over. Check the output when those features matter.

Local processing and repeat use

Your source files are processed on your device. Cancel stops PDF worker processing; changing inputs or settings clears the old download. The same inputs remain available for another operation. No account or processing-service API is required.

Frequently asked questions

Are my PDF files uploaded?
No. The PDFs are combined in a local browser worker. Odelvo does not send your source files to a processing service.
Can I choose the file order?
Yes. Move files up or down before merging. Pages within each input PDF keep their original order.
Can I merge password-protected PDFs?
No. Use unencrypted copies. This tool does not remove passwords.
Does merging preserve bookmarks and forms?
This tool copies pages into a new document. Document-level bookmarks, interactive forms, attachments, and signatures are not guaranteed to carry over. Check the downloaded document before using it.
