Rotate PDF Pages
Turn all or selected PDF pages by 90, 180, or 270 degrees and save the result.
One PDF · up to 500 pages · 50 MB total
Use page numbers starting at 1. Duplicate selections are included once.
Choose a PDF, select pages, and set a clockwise rotation.
How to rotate PDF pages
- Choose a PDF.
- Leave the page field blank for the whole document, or enter pages such as 2, 4-6.
- Choose a clockwise rotation of 90, 180, or 270 degrees.
- Select Rotate PDF and download the result.
Rotate one sideways page
If page 2 is sideways and the other pages are correct, enter 2 and choose the rotation that makes it upright. A 270-degree clockwise rotation is equivalent to a 90-degree counterclockwise turn.
Saved rotation versus viewer rotation
A PDF viewer may rotate a page only for the current viewing session. This tool saves the selected page rotation into a new PDF. It works in quarter turns and cannot straighten a slightly tilted scanned page.
Supported files and processing limits
Source files can total up to 50 MB per operation. Merge and image conversion accept up to 25 files; PDF operations support at most 500 combined input pages. Images are limited to 16 million pixels each, with an 80 MB prepared-input limit. Output is limited to 100 MB and processing stops after 30 seconds. Smaller inputs are more suitable for phones and devices with limited memory.
Troubleshooting and document features
Use valid, unencrypted PDFs. If an input cannot be read or is too large, choose fewer files or a smaller copy. Editing can affect document-level features and invalidate digital signatures. Merge and extraction copy pages into a new document, so bookmarks, attachments, and interactive forms are not guaranteed to carry over. Check the output when those features matter.
Local processing and repeat use
Your source files are processed on your device. Cancel stops PDF worker processing; changing inputs or settings clears the old download. The same inputs remain available for another operation. No account or processing-service API is required.
Frequently asked questions
- Does the downloaded file keep the rotation?
- Yes. The selected pages receive a PDF page-rotation value, which is saved into the downloaded document.
- Can I rotate just one page?
- Yes. Enter that page number. You can also enter ranges, or leave the selection blank to rotate all pages.
- Are rotations added to existing page rotations?
- Yes. A clockwise 90-degree rotation is added to the selected page's current rotation and normalized to 0, 90, 180, or 270 degrees.
- Can I straighten a tilted scan by a few degrees?
- This tool rotates PDF pages in 90-degree steps. It does not deskew scanned images or change the pixels within them.
